Real style comes to the old coast

Mount Tamborine is not a large area, but finding an award-winning restaurant called Songbirds nearly defeated us in the dark as we drove up and down the winding mountain road looking for a turn-off. Our patience was rewarded with an outstanding dinner on an open-air verandah, surrounded by towering rainforest trees. You can even stay in one of their forest cabins.
