Conference and party planners can take celebrations to a higher level with lunch or dinner at Songbirds in the Forest near Australia’s Gold Coast at Mount Tamborine.

Songbirds’ superb food, fine wine and excellent service will impress at any time of the year, the mountain climate is cooler than the coast in summer, in winter heaters keep guests cosy and comfortable.

Songbirds is an elegant multi-award winning restaurant surrounded by more than 50 acres of pristine rainforest less than an hour from Brisbane and half an hour from the Gold Coast.

The menu changes with the seasons to offer diners a fresh selection of exquisite dishes. The wine list includes leading labels from Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Songbirds’ conference menus are available for 10 or more people. Choose a two-course menu with a main course and dessert or an entrée and main course starting from $68 per person. Songbirds three course menus start from $82 per person. These packages include function coffee.

Beverage packages are tailored to individual requirements. Songbirds’ staff can advise on transport by coach, minibus, limousine, taxi or helicopter.

Songbirds in the Forest restaurant is the focal point of Songbirds Rainforest Retreat. Indulge in the entire experience by staying in one of six luxurious villas.

Each spacious villa for two features a king size bed, double spa bath, cosy lounge with a gas-ember fire and a large private veranda. Villas are often booked several weeks in advance, plan early to avoid disappointment.

Songbirds in the Forest serves lunch Wednesday through to Sunday and dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Conference parties may be catered for at other times by arrangement.
